Hi, I’m Sarah! I am the face behind the camera at Creative Grace Photography.

Creative Grace Photography was founded in 2021, and the name was inspired by my 11-year-old dog, Grace. She’s my soul dog, and the one who has been by my side through every season and every chapter. Our bond is something rare and special, and when I started this photography journey, I knew I wanted a piece of her in it. Naming my business after her felt natural, because Grace represents everything I want my work to reflect: loyalty, heart, presence, and the beauty found in everyday moments. Capturing love, connection, and authenticity is at the core of what I do and Grace is the reason behind the name.

As the oldest of seven, being a big sister has always been one of my favorite and most defining roles. I think that’s where my love for connection and capturing meaningful moments began. I’ve always been drawn to preserving life’s milestones, and what started as casually taking photos for family and friends quickly developed into a genuine passion.

I’m originally from Illinois but have called Colorado home for most of my life. I like to think of myself as a grandfathered-in native since I’ve been here since I was four years old. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Professional Services and have recently completed graduate school, obtaining a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Healthcare Administration.

When I’m not studying or behind the camera, I’m usually spending time with my husband Ryan, and our two dogs, Grace, and Gus, who is our newest addition, a year and a half old shepherd mix. Otherwise, you’ll usually find me reading, coloring, watching hockey, or traveling with the dogs in tow.

I’m so grateful to be able to combine creativity and connection through photography. I look forward to continuing my passion, sharing that joy with others through images they’ll treasure for years to come.
